yes maintenance has increased but still it is not higher than normally charged in Gurgaon.

Builders in gurgaon do not show accounts and charge Rs 2 per sqf
The Aug'11 bill for Utsav was at the rate of Rs. 1.48 a sq foot (in Villas it was Rs. 1.24 the same month - both Utsav and Villas are in the same complex of Ashiana Village, Bhiwadi).
ReplyDeleteThe bill for a 2-bedroom utsav flat in Aug'11 came to Rs. 1600 or so. The May'12 bill for the same flat approached Rs. 2,000 so the per sq. foot rate for utsav may be closer to rs. 1.8 a sq. foot now. Some Utsavites apprehend it will cross Rs. 2 a sq foot by the time 2012-'13 closes.
The Residents' Association has told us many Qs on accounts are not answered : namely, what are the salaries paid to the AGM, Activity Manager, etc; Receipts for Fixed Deposits of our contributions of Capital Maintenance Fund are not regularly sent to the Assn.; Why are AMCs and payments strongly objected to in advance by the RWA paid - for example for ECS, boom barrier, TV, Road Repair, etc.
